Privacy policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

This policy explains how Labebo handles your data in its AI learning features, educational activities, and associated account. Labebo is operated by Bader Al-Din Asalwa. For privacy questions and requests: info@labebo.com.

Data we store and why

We process account and sign-in details, study preferences, questions, answers, conversation history, notes, activity results, progress, and usage limits. We also process technical data such as IP addresses and security logs, profile information, and photos you choose to upload. This data helps us operate the service, personalize learning, save your work, provide support, and prevent misuse. A child's data may be linked to a parent's account. For paid subscriptions, we process subscription status and transaction identifiers; the payment provider handles payment-method data.

Do not enter passwords, card numbers, identity documents, addresses, or sensitive health or personal information in chat. Use a nickname and do not share other people's data. Your input may be stored in the conversation and sent for processing; the service is not anonymous or free of data storage.

Artificial intelligence

We use AI service providers to generate explanations and answers. Your question, necessary conversation context, and learning settings are sent to the provider, including any personal information you include in your question. Processing may take place outside your country. The provider's data processing, retention, and use for improvement depend on the service type and its terms; we do not promise no retention or no training in all configurations.

AI can make mistakes. Answers and recommendations are for learning, not medical diagnosis or professional decisions. Check important information with a teacher or specialist.

Optional camera

The camera is optional and used only within interactive educational activities that require visual motion input. Permission is requested only after you open such an activity and accept an explanation in the app. The camera is never accessed in the background. If you decline, you can continue using AI learning features and all activities that do not require a camera. You can revoke permission in your browser or device settings.

Sharing and visibility

Your nickname and profile may appear in learner discovery depending on your account type and settings. Your photo, interests, and progress summary appear when you enable them. Notes, questions, and badges you post in the community become visible to others, who may copy content before you delete it. Review your privacy settings before sharing, and do not post sensitive information or information identifying a child.

Service providers and local storage

We rely on hosting, AI, sign-in, security, and payment services when used. External services may receive technical connection data when their resources load. We use sign-in session cookies and local storage to operate accounts and save preferences. We do not sell your personal data or use your conversations for targeted advertising. We may disclose data to meet a legal obligation or protect the service and people's rights.

To find illustrations, we send short AI-selected educational topic terms to Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, rather than full questions, answers, or account identifiers. Images load directly from Wikimedia, which receives standard connection information, including your IP address. Image requests do not include the referring page address. Image details include source and license links, available through the information icon, hover, or keyboard focus.

Retention, deletion, and security

Account and learning data is retained to provide features and your history; signing out or removing the app does not delete it. You can delete items where the interface permits, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account and associated data. We may ask you to verify account ownership. Data needed for legal or security obligations and backup copies may remain until replaced; we explain deletion scope and exceptions when handling your request. We use access controls to protect data, but no system is completely secure.

Children and your rights

Parents should supervise children's use and provide consent where legally required. Parents can contact us about their child's data, including requests to review or delete it. If a child's information was submitted without required permission, tell us so we can address it. Rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, withdrawal of consent, and complaints to a data protection authority vary by country; contact us to exercise them.

Changes and contact

We update this page and its date when the policy changes, and communicate material changes appropriately. For privacy requests, write to info@labebo.com without attaching unnecessary sensitive information.
